Installation Instructions:
- Click on the link below.
- Save the self-executing file ("mdca201.exe") onto your hard drive.
- When you are ready to use the program, locate the file on your hard drive, and double click on it to start the program.
- Once initiated, the program will display a window which prompts you to enter the phone number and communication port
number which you are using to communicate to the chiller control system.
Operation Summary:
- On-Board/Local Monitoring
- For on-board/local monitoring, the on-board computer should be connected directly to the chiller control system via a
serial cable and adapters. Once the chiller manager software is executed, enter in the communication port number only,
which the serial cable is connect into. Refer to the chiller control panel operation manual for further instructions.
- Remote Site Monitoring
- For remote site monitoring, an external modem should be connected to the chiller control system via a serial cable
and adapters, and a dedicated phone line is connected to this modem. A dedicated phone line should be connected to the modem
of your local computer, which you will use to monitor the chiller system. Once the chiller manager software is executed,
you need to enter in the remote site's phone number that you are dialing into. Also enter in the communication port number
that your computer's modem is connected to. Refer to the chiller control panel operation manual for further instructions.
